Hearson’s Cove Tidal Flats

Exploring the tidal flats of Hearson’s Cove on a low tide can be quite the adventure . Whilst taking in the breathtaking scenery you can come across all kinds of wild life such as sea birds and little crabs. On a very low tide you can walk right around to the right all the way to a small island where locals catch mud crabs. Be sure to check the local weather and tides before heading out exploring.

Hearson’s Cove is located on the Burrup Peninsula close to the town of Dampier and with in 30 minutes drive from Karratha.
